KEE Action Sports (KEE’s) seeks to do business with suppliers that do not engage in human trafficking, illegal child labor or forced labor of any nature.
In conformity with this policy, KEE requires annual certification from suppliers that they have policies against human trafficking, illegal child labor or forced labor and do not engage in these practices. KEE seeks to confirm that its suppliers conform to these policies by directing that KEE employees and purchasing contractors visit major suppliers at least once a year and report to KEE senior management their observations regarding compliance with these policies. Visits may or may not be unannounced.
Direct suppliers are also required to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery, human trafficking and child labor of the country or countries in which they are doing business.
KEE reserves the right to impose sanctions, including the termination of business relations, upon suppliers who do not comply with its policies on human trafficking, illegal child labor or forced labor.
Senior management reviews annually the certifications submitted by suppliers and the reports of employees and contractors who visit suppliers. Reports indicating non compliance are routed to senior management on their receipt.
Employees and contractors in supply chain management are trained at least once annually on the provisions of KEE’s policy on human trafficking, illegal child labor and forced labor. KEE’s policy on these issues is part of it is general code of business conduct. Employees who fail to observe the requirements of KEE’s code of business conduct are subject to appropriate discipline.
